Japan was hit by a devastating earthquake of an 8.9 magnitude which resulted in a tsunami of a height of ten meters. It swept away houses, equipment, and cars and it destroyed bridges and killed around ten thousand people and rendered another thousand homeless, leaving them without any shelter, work or money. This flood is considered to be a first of its kind in the history of Japan.

The Japanese – Government and people wise – had not anticipated the occurrence of such a flood, even though they were expecting some earthquakes from time to time as their country is always subject to earthquakes.

The Japanese nation – of great scientific and industrial progress – has faith in their religion – which we believe is Buddhism. We are Muslims and we respect the beliefs of all nations and treat them with love and peace. We wish this nation only good and we ask Allah (SWT) to protect it from all evil. However, we believe that Islam is the true religion, which was accompanied by the Quran that was never subject to falsehood in the past and that shall never be subject to it in the future.

The Quran recounted in Surat Al Ankaboot (The Spider/ verse 14) and Al Aaaraf (The Purgatory/verse 133) that the flood is a punishment sent by God to those who have committed a sin and disobeyed Him. Allah (SWT) had sent the flood and other punishments on nations that do not believe in him. The nations included the people of the Pharaoh, for Allah said in Surat Al Aaaraf (Whenever a plague afflicted them, they said, “O Moses, implore your Lord – you are close to Him. If you relieve this plague, we will believe with you and we will send the children of Israel with you.”/ verse 134). The flood had gotten the best of Noah’s people due to their lack of faith even though Noah remained with them and called upon them to believe in Allah for 950 years. Allah had saved Noah and those who believed in the ship built by Noah for this purpose.

As the great Japanese nation does not believe in Allah, the one and only lord, then it is called to have faith and worship Him alone in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Islam which shall bring mercy to all humans, regardless their languages or nations or races. Allah (SWT) holds people accountable after their death for their faith and worship. Those who believed and did good deeds shall go to heaven as promised by Him, to remain there for eternity. Those who disbelieved or sinned or disobeyed Him shall remain in hell to be tortured as long as Allah shall so say.

Therefore, all humans, from the west to the east, are welcomed and called upon to embrace Islam as the only religion and to believe in Allah alone and to worship and obey Him. No person can say, at this point, that he has not heard of Islam, for there are Muslims in all the corners of the world (regardless the reality and behavior of some, for they are humans who make mistakes as well). The media, visual and auditory, circulate some information on Islam for those wishing to get to know this religion that is solely accepted by Allah from all humans. All other religions, including Christianity and Judaism shall not be accepted by Him as the true religion is Islam. As Allah (SWT) said in the Holy Quran, no religion, other than Islam, shall be accepted.

It is my duty, as a Muslim, to call upon my brothers in the great and courageous Japanese nation to embrace this religion and to obey Allah alone. This way, the Japanese nation shall add to the power of knowledge and management with the power of faith and true beliefs and its people shall enhance their dignity and insure the benefit of this life and the happiness in the thereafter by believing in Allah and obeying him.

As the Japanese nation may know, embracing Islam does not affect its sovereignty and does not endanger its safety, nor does it decrease its activities and profits; but rather, its sovereignty shall be more proclaimed and its security and stability shall prevail and its benefits and work shall expand, with the help of Allah, to other fields as this nation would receive the blessings of Allah (SWT). Allah (SWT) shall protect it from natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods and shall protect it from the evil of other nations. Whoever shall die, from this nation, believing in Allah (SWT) shall go to heaven. Therefore, I call upon my brothers of this nation to believe in Allah to be blessed during this life and to find happiness in the thereafter. This invitation addresses all the nations of the world on all continents, and especially the nations of China, India, South and North Korea, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, Siam and other great nations which we respect highly. We call upon you to believe in Allah (SWT).

Allah I have inform and thus be my witness, you are the best of witnesses. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the universe.
